I used to absolutely LOVE the game of chess. It was one of those things that I could never get enough of. The strategy, the concentration, it was all exciting for me. Growing up, my father and I would duke it out, and then we came to a point where we played a game where we would only make one move a day. That gave you an entire 24 hours to strategize your next move.
But as it is with all things, you bore of it and lose interest.
That being said, isn't it crazy how you forget about things you used to do ...
Years ago I used to wood burn chess boards, and then I'd create Arabic Motifs along the borders and oil paint them. This was the last one I did. It's still unfinished. There never seemed to be a market for them.
