Book Cover - Completed

This is the completed book cover. Once I finished painting it, the canvas was scanned and downloaded into Photoshop. There, I cleaned up all the lines, enhanced the colors, and adjusted anything that might be out of place. The canvas was done in acrylic, and of course, the main cover on the book was digital. I do not own any rights to the cover of the book. That belongs to the Kingdom Publishing Group, Inc. They're an awesome publishing company based out of Richmond, VA. Their website is www.kingdompublishing.org. You can also google the author's name, Carrolyn Pichet, and pick the cover up at Amazon.com, ebay, Barnes & Noble, or some of the many other book retailers online.

Book Cover Design

Here is a book cover design I completed for a lady. It was kind of interesting - trying to make the effects of glass not only shattering, but destroying the text as well.

Photoshop Edit

Okay, don't laugh. This image is of me from the inside of my living room. It was for a lighting project at AAU and I had to see if I could match colors and lighting up. The window area doesn't exist. Well, the window does, but not the image outside. That is taken from one of my several trips to Dubai.

Speaking of Dubai, if you're ever interested in going to the Middle East, Dubai is one of the most laid back Middle Eastern Nations. However, it also has a serious western influence. In my opinion, it's not a real view of the Middle East. I've been to Egypt, as well as Iraq, and though I'm not suggesting a person go into those territories - amidst the uprisings and bombings - I do recommend other nations that allow you to experience the real thing. Going to Dubai and eating at Burger King or McDonald's - though not a bad thing - is not my idea of experiencing another culture. Eating their native food is a good start.

Lighthouse Baptist Church

This is the 100th year of the sinking of the "unsinkable" Titanic. Rev. Frank Gooch will be delivering a sermon this April 12, 2012 with compelling stories of Christian fortitude on that moving night. It is amazing in and of itself that the 100th year of the sinking of the Titanic, that it's centennial falls on a Sunday. He had me put together this design for some pins he's having made for this moving day. If you'd like to contact him, you can reach him at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Lighthouse-Baptist-Church/338441722007

Book Cover

The first of two drawings for the cover of a book by James Robinson published by Kingdom Publishing in Richmond, VA. The book is about the two judgments of Christ. This first drawing depicts the first judgment on earth. The entire drawing was done in Photoshop CS4. The lightening, the blood, the background ... all done with a BAMBOO pen.
