Cloud Study
This past summer, I went to the beach and on the way passed this amazing shed with granaries behind it. It's tempting to paint gorgeous clouds, but it was really cloudy so I decided to paint the bluish/grey clouds that I remembered seeing. This is just a cloud study on canvas panel.

Completed Portrait
This is probably one of the more difficult portraits to complete. Not only did I take two different photographs and combine them, but selecting the right photograph for this was difficult, especially considering the situation. Knowing the customer is pleased with the final piece is what's most important.

What a find ...
Went to an estate sale today. Got a ton of old oil paints. I don't use Bob Ross paints, but well, I will now. There was a ton of them, brushes that were still good, Turpenoid (gosh I really need that) a tin box with a ton of paints, a really old bottle (I love old bottles) and at the bottom of the tin box was an old inventory list as well as the guy's hand written Bob Ross instructions.
