Remembering Whitney Houston
It was seven years ago today that Whitney left us. This is an oil portrait I did of her just a few months after she passed. It seems fitting that her greatest hit, 'I Will Always Love You' works so perfect in my life - to be able to walk away from a toxic situation that brings more negativity into my life than positive. Knowing the individual/situation was at one time positive, but you're no longer compatible with them/it, and closing the door is the best option because a more positive door has opened.
