Richmond Train Station







 Clocktower Train Station in Richmond, VA

Graphite and Carbon Pencil

This entire drawing took close to 80 hours (76 to be exact, yes, I timed it) with the bulk of it drawn with a .5mm Mechanical Pencil. Each shingle on the roof...you name it. It was an exhausting labor of love. The original is on display at VCU Health for their National Arts Show until September. Prints will be made available tomorrow.

Richmond Train Station - Work In Progress



 My phone does this crazy thing with the timelapse app where it makes a decision on its own to lower the quality of the videos. I manually program it to take pics at the highest setting, but while in the process of filming, it lowers the quality to 360p sometimes. Why? That's a question for the technology experts.

Richmond Train Station - work in progress



 Listening to Kevin Samuels while drawing each individual roof tile. This guy is so underrated in my opinion. I don't always agree with him, but my God he makes so many valuable points for both men and women.
