This post has nothing to do with art, but because I've used this blog to post simple thoughts completely unrelated to art, I thought I would post this. When Keanu Reeves was asked by Stephen Colbert, 'what do you think happens when we die?' he replied, 'I know that the ones who love us, will miss us." If you're struggling with suicide, please keep that in mind.

Harriet Tubman: Into The Darkness background video
I did a video of the progress of the Harriet Tubman: Into The Darkness painting. Unfortunately, blogger isn't allowing the video to be posted here. I've posted videos throughout the years on blogger, but this one exceeded the limit. If you would like to see the video, you can click the link to the Fine Art by John Price fan page and view it.

Harriet Tubman - Work In Progress
So I know the posts of the trees seem kind of redundant, but I can only work on 3-4 trees every other day and each tree needs a minimum of 2 layers of paint. If one overlaps with the next, it smears the work that was previously done. I have a few more background trees and then on to the glazing. Once I've finished the glazing, I'll begin painting in Harriet Tubman.

First Short Story
WHAT IF EVERYTHING YOU REMEMBER, NEVER HAPPENED?
To make a deal with the devil is scary enough as it is. But to renege on that deal is even more dangerous. Going back on your word can have serious consequences. Cameron Washington does just that in this new suspenseful adult thriller by author John Price.
The Mandela Effect takes the reader into a story of betrayal, fame, and ultimately, regret as wannabe rapper desiring fame, Cameron, unknowingly makes a deal with powers that are beyond his control. Rife with deception, mystery, and an alternate reality, can Cameron beat the odds in this black horror that looks at evil spirits that follow Hollywood and the entertainment industry?
If you like the Twilight Zone and Jordan Peele, you’ll enjoy this eerie thriller about a power that can erase history, leaving dark and senseless memories with nothing to back them up.
The dance with death happens more often than you think ...
This is my first published short story and should be available mid May.
