Recent trip to Washington Part 3 of 8

AS STATED BEFORE, IT'S TEMPTING to upload the entire damn camera roll, but here are a few images from Washington. There's a whole ass desert in Quincy near the Columbia River and in my opinion, worth the hike to the top. If you go at the right time, you can catch an amazing sunset. Just be careful of the rattlesnakes. We also went to Snoqualmie Falls, Rattlesnake Cove (gorgeous clear turquoise water), hiked to the waterfall in Frenchman Coulee, and caught a huge herd of elk on the side of the road.

Recent trip to Washington Part 2 of 8

WENT TO SEE DAVE MATTHEWS BAND at The Gorge Amphitheater in Washington State. Sunsets in the desert are so serene. I was able to sketch, enjoy some bourbon, wine, and well...some gummies.

Recent trip to Washington Part 1 of 8

BECAUSE THIS IS MY ART blog, I don't want to make it about my travels, but I think of all of the places I've been not only with Lynanne, but in my life, Washington definitely takes the cake in terms of beauty. It's definitely the most diverse in regard to landscapes - there's the desert on one side, a rain forest, the mountains, gorgeous cityscapes...I've never seen anything like it. I'll make a few posts over the next few weeks about our recent trip and share a few photos. It's so tempting to upload the entire 1100 photos that we took, but I'll post a handful to show the beauty of the state.

It's been awhile...

IN FACT, IT'S ALMOST BEEN AN entire year since my last posting. I don't know what happened, either...I just kind of got away from posting. There has been SO much that has changed with my art career in just this small amount of time, but dammit, it is one wonderful ride. Here's to posting more often, and sharing my thoughts along the way.
