More work on this shed

Dell's Shed - Work In Progress

So I've just finished all the background trees and am about to start on the shed, detailing out the boards and all those knots in the wood. Then I'll move over to the two foreground trees and then the twigs, leaves and smaller trees in front of the shed.

Chapel Island, Richmond

Not a good pic, but today was gorgeous in Richmond, and I went to Chapel Island and this tiny path caught my eye and I had to do a pleinair painting of it.

This is an alley on the side of the building I live in. Richmond turned a bunch of the old Tobacco factories into upscale apartments. The sun was striking the buildings in just the right spot and I had to paint it.

Del's Shed WIP

When I edit pics of my art, I try to make it look as close to the painting as I can. Unfortunately, when I took this pic, it has more of a brownish feel to it than what it really looks like. I've just finished the first of 3 layers of the sky, and the first of maybe 4-5 layers of trees in the background. To the left is a hill and most of it will be covered by a ton of trees. I couldn't do anything about the glare.
